Where is the Core?
All movement passes through the center of the body, the CORE. The entire body is used in every exercise which makes for a total body workout. Inside it takes shape under the ribs, involves all the abdominal muscles, attaches to the spine and goes all the way to the very bottom of the pelvic bones. Outside the body it starts under the ribs and extends to the low back, including the full roundness of the buttocks and ends at mid thigh. Participants start at their own level of fitness, at their individual working level doing the same exercises as the rest of the class. The result is a freshly aligned body, firmer mid section, and a feeling of well-being from robustly deep breathing for one hour.
